Hong Kong, China – Asia’s Tourism Royalty

If you ever think of visiting Asia, Hongkong, China should be one of the first cities you should consider. It is one of the most famous cities in the world, averaging an impressive 29.2 million visitors yearly. This is a great city to visit especially during the holidays. Shopping is always at a bargain here.

Despite the very fair prices of goods, living in the heart of the city can be a little pricey. What most people do is move beyond the tourist areas like Kowloon or Jordan and everything becomes relatively cheap.

Wondering what you’ll be doing visiting Hongkong?

Well… first, you’ll be seeing the world’s largest skyscrapers, easily accessible mountains just outside the city, amazing beaches, bargains for shoppers and some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world.

The 34-meter high statue sits above Lantau Island’s Po Lin monastery which was a secluded area till 1993 when the statue was built, thus opening it up to locals and tourists. This statue took over 12 years to build and is so big that it can be seen from a distance.

That’s still not all there is to Hongkong. There’s the Street Night Market which is where to be if you’re looking to shop for a bargain.

The Hong Kong Disneyland is very similar to what is obtainable in the US but with slight distinguishing factors.

The Ten thousand Buddhas Monastery, the Tai O Fishing Village, the Avenue of Stars. These are just some of the most popular sites to visit in Hong Kong.…
