Why Madrid is a Great Place to Visit

If you ever happen to be in Spain, visiting Madrid, its capital is definitely not an opportunity you should pass up. The beautiful city features elegant boulevards and manicured parks that provide visitors with wondrous settings that are hard to find elsewhere.  Known for its rich vein of history and art, you can choose from multiple museums in the capital depending on your particular tastes – from the National Archeological Museum which has been designated as a world heritage site, to the National Museum of Romanticism, there is something for everyone. The available cuisine is filled with numerous delicacies, with the Tapas in particular a dish that everyone should sample given the chance.

Madrid also happens to have great weather all year round meaning you can’t go wrong with your scheduling. The predominantly sunny city features beautiful neighborhoods that are elegantly designed and offer wonderful sightseeing opportunities. Puerta del Sol, Madrid’s city center is the first stop for many visitors and here you can enjoy a number of popular attractions, including the El Oso y el Madroño which is a statue of a bear and a strawberry tree – which represents the city’s coat of arms. Madrid also has a bustling nightlife and you can choose from dozens of pubs and clubs when looking to have a good time.
