Is this city really that amazing or is it all well-crafted PR and hype?
No list of top cities in the world or most likely tourist destinations can ever be complete if Paris isn’t on the list. I’ll go a step further by saying, I don’t think any ranking that doesn’t place Paris in the top 5 should be taken seriously. Paris remains one of the most iconic destinations for grand life events, romantic getaways, milestone vacations, honeymoons etc.
There’s also the lure of Art. Paris is home to some of the most prestigious Art galleries and museums like the Musee d’Orsay and the Louvre Museum. There are other sites of great importance in Paris, like the Arc de Triomphe and the Notre Dame Cathedral. If you’re a fan of opera, ballet, and symphony then Paris is where you want to be in the winter.
Finally, you can’t talk about Paris without mentioning the 1000 feet tall iconic monument known as the Eiffel Tower. Seeing the world from the top of the Eiffel Tower is an entirely different experience and that’s why it’s on the bucket list of almost every adventurous person. You should add it to yours if it isn’t there already.
